Marvel Contest of Champions welcomes Shathra, Count Luchino Nefaria, and the Glorious Games this September
  • Gear up for four months of festivities
  • The Glorious Games will last until December
  • Balance updates and bug fixes included

Kabam has announced an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, inviting everyone to join in on the mobile fighter's 10th-anniversary festivities with the arrival of the wasp goddess Shathra. Also to be welcomed to the fray is Maggia crime syndicate leader Count Luchino Nefaria, who will be gracing us with his presence beginning September 12th.

In the latest update to Marvel Contest of Champions, you can look forward to adding Shathra to your lineup beginning September 26th. This also comes with the Glorious Games which will run for four months, with a variety of elements you can dive into such as the September Circus Maximus and the December Grand Banquet.

As for the new characters, the immortal Count Luchino Nefaria sustains his life by draining other Ionic beings, while Shathra is the jealous Daughter of Elder Goddesses Oshtur and Gaea, who, in her fit of rage and envy, has vowed to wreak havoc in retaliation for her younger sister outdoing her with her Great Web.
