Cyber Quest sees you running the edge in this deck-battling crew builder
Think you can handle it, choom?

- Cyber Quest is a distinct new take on the roguelike deckbuilder
- Battle your way through a post-human city with your ragtag crew of hackers and mercenaries
- Combine cards, pick from 15 classes and more!
Another day, another roguelike deck builder. Fortunately, Cyber Quest is one of those new releases that comes with an interesting spin on a seemingly done-and-dusted formula. Taking you into the dark future, Cyber Quest adds a healthy dose of cyberpunk to your average deck builder!
Boasting retro 18-bit graphics, a funky soundtrack and more cards than you can shake a cyber limb at, Cyber Quest sees you build your ideal crew of ragtag mercenaries, hackers and more as you journey through a post-human city. Featuring a different run every time, you'll be challenged to build a team that can take on any obstacle.
While it lacks the official branding of any well-known sci-fi series, Cyber Quest boasts plenty of old-school charm for fans of the genre. Whether that's the outrageous fashion sense or the snappy naming of even the most mundane of gadgets, if you're a fan of 80s classics like Shadowrun, Cyberpunk 2020 or others, you'll get a kick out of this.

Again, the deck-building roguelike genre has become an increasingly common one. Fortunately for you and me, I don't think we've run dry on new spins just yet. Cyber Quest certainly boasts a new take on it, and the care that's gone into making it look authentically retro, while still professing to be built for touchscreens, is commendable.
Of course, the cyberpunk genre is very much a diverse one, filled with different stories and fitting dozens of different genres. So if you're looking to leap into the dark future, and hold it right in the palm of your hand, maybe now is the time to crack open our list of top cyberpunk games for iOS and Android.
