Genshin Impact version 5.2 takes you up high with new flight powers and transformations
  • Genshin Impact version 5.2 has been announced, alongside new details
  • Explore more of Natlan than ever before with amazing new flight powers
  • Transform into two new Saurians with incredible movement abilities

Genshin Impact fans, rejoice! In case you missed it, HoYoverse has announced that version 5.2, or Tapestry of Spirit and Flame, is coming on November 20th. There are new events and the latest chapter of the story with the Archon Quest Chapter V: Interlude.

Version 5.2, as you might expect, continues to expand on the action in Natlan, mainly by adding new characters, new territories and new abilities to make use of. You can transform into either Qucusaurs (with long-distance gliding abilities) or Iktomisaurs (which can leap huge distances).

You'll definitely need these abilities as you explore the ancient ruined city of Ochkanatlan while interacting with the new Flower-Feather Clan and Masters of the Night-Wind. But you'll also have new allies in the form of the bow-wielding five-star character Chasca, and the four-star Ororon.

But that's not even the biggest addition in this update, because Genshin Impact will also finally debut on the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming in version 5.2. Game Pass Ultimate members will receive recurring bonuses in Genshin Impact, and we'll keep you posted on what those are when we find out.

In the meantime, if you do need something to do to tide you over before the update launches (and you don't want to spend your time grinding in Genhin Impact), why not check out some of the entries in our regular feature of the top five new mobile games to try this week?
