The Very Big Indie Pitch at Pocket Gamer Connects Jordan 2024 is a little different then previous events. Instead of this event being split into two sessions; one for PC / Console and one for Mobile, all of these indies were competiting against each other in one massive pitching session.
If you are unfamilar with the Very Big Indie Pitch, it's a speed-dating style event where indie developers have just five minutes to pitch their game to tables of judges, moving quickly onto the next. Think of it like speed-dating for indie games! There are a variety of different genres, themes and points in development that each of these games were in at the time of pitching.
These pitches take place at all Pocket Gamer Connects events, as well as other gaming focused events that Pocket Gamer is attending, all over the world. It's a great way to see developers from specific areas.
We've taken the time to compile all of the games from this pitch and bring them to you in this list. You can get a little preview of each of the games that were pitched and hopefully find one that peaks your interest.

Cat's Vote is a PC game where you are taking care of your own cat, ensuring that they have enough money to pay bills and keep fed, before choosing your candidate and voting in an election. There are lots of different factors that come into running for president and every decision you make has a result that can change your cat's life. The game itself feels very cute while having some real - and relevant - reflections.

Crush!
Crush! is a two-player PC arcade game where both players are looking to control the same vehicle; a giant wheel. This wheel has the goal of destroying troops that appear in the field. You can see giant flags of various troops to know where they are, forcing you to head in that direction so that you can crush them. As two people are controlling the wheel at the same time, it becomes a game of tug-of-war as you try to steer clear of your own army!

Both of Us
Both of Us is a a mobile action-adventure game where you play as Zoya, who has been struggling with depression following the loss of her mother. Her father is often working, not paying attention to Zoya, so their relationship is also strained. In the midst of this depression, Zoya's doll has transported both her father and Zoya into a mysterious, dark realm where they need to work together to get back to reality.

Bahamut and The Waqwaq Tree
Bahamut and The Waqwaq Tree is a narrative adventure game that's inspired by Arabian mythologies from the 1001 book, where two mythical creatures are keeping the harmony within the ocean, balancing the darkness and lightness. Exploring underwater feels like flying and the environment is beautiful. You are looking to help the dark areas, that have been corrupted, to bring balance back to the ocean.

Malak
Malak is a psychological horror PC game that aims to test your courage and morality. You have awoken in the afterlife to find yourself in a horrific realm of demons and despair. Your goal is to solve the mystery of the death of a young girl in your village and confront your own dark past, through exploring abandoned houses and facing demons. It's an unsettling game that's for those who like the horror genre.

Animals Race
Animal Race is a mobile racing game where you play as an animal, with it's own unique abilities to overcome various obstacles throughout the race track. As you tap to transform characters, you are able to take on different parts of the course more accurately. It's a simple concept, but makes for a fun racing game where you need to use your abilities well and think ahead.

Adventure at JU
Adventure at JU is a PC and Mobile game that's meant to represent the journey of a university student attending the University of Jordan. Following the story of Rayyan, an IT student, you will take on real tasks a real student has. The map itself is even a virtual copy of the university campus, bring a lot of reality to the game.

Sort Arena
Sorta Arena is a mobile match-3 style game where you need to sort items that are scrambled upon a bunch of shelves. You'll need to make sure each shelf has the same three items on it, within the same layer, so that it can be emptied. There are various power-ups that can help you if you get stuck as well.

Dark Hunter Inc is a tabletop RPG set in the early 2000s, in a place where supernatural beings exist. Suddenly, there has been an outburst of supernatural phenomena happening all over the world, which need you to investigate them. Our first Tabletop RPG entry, this one is quite interesting and well written!

Away from the light
Away from the Light is point and click adventure game, coming to PC and Switch, where you have found yourself in a strange dimension, needing to solve puzzles so you can make it out. Every choice you make changes the direction of the story, determining the ending you will get. It's got a lot of nods to flash-era point and click adventure games!

Home Lost Home is a real-time strategy game coming to PC, where you play as a jester who needs to fight against an unstoppable army. This enemy is attempting to colonize your home, taking away everything you've ever known. Each time you die, you are reborn as one of the most miserable of your people, hoping to help them get out of this life of despair.

Dead Flamingo - Fragile Flamboyance
Dead Flamingo - Fragile Flamboyance is a sailing exploration game coming to PC. You will play as a young fisherman, who is looking to help the world, as it ends in seven days. There are a bunch of colossal guardians that need freeing, along with a princess who has been cursed. Each of these different individuals have their own challenges and puzzles to solve, so that you can figure out what exactly has happened and how to restore balance to your world.

Kortifo is a soccer card and trivia game, coming to mobile, where you need to influence a game's momentum using the cards that you get each round and your knowledge of the sport. You can challenge your friends or compete with players worldwide to see if you match up to them! There are also customization options within the game, to keep things personal to you.

Project - Robot is an atmospheric puzzle game coming to PC, where you are playing a little robot who is trying to escape a factory in a post-apocalyptic world. This little Robot isn't alone in this world; there is a human girl who is also looking to escape, to help you out. The look and feel of this game is spot on for the genre.

Surgi-Verse, coming to PC and mobile, is a surgical robot simulator with realistic graphics, to help train people in robotic-assisted surgeries. This game has precise controls, allowing medical professionals and those interested in surgeries experience the real thing and develop their skills.
