Communite preview - "Building up friendships"

- Build a world, together!
- Attract little creatures that you can bop
- Take on quests to build specific habitats
There are a lot of open-world games where people destroy things built by others. I remember the first time I created a home in a live Minecraft server, and someone blew it up. I was devastated. Communite is a sort of world-buildiner, but based on kindness and creating something beautiful.
The entire map is made up of little square tiles. You can place these down in areas, often going after a quest. These quests are determined by different woodland animals and creatures, who all need your help. They pick the type of biome they want you to create, using the tiles you have unlocked so far. You then need to build around the area to fill up a Habitat Progress bar.

Gameplay
Placing tiles costs flowers, which you gain over time or by tapping on the little flower creatures that are often walking around the world. You can also gain some when you level up. Without flowers, you aren't able to build anything! As you progress through Communite, you will unlock more of them, allowing you to build more complex habitats. Some of them are a little expensive when it comes to placement and other tiles need more people to help you to build them. Those people need to join the tile and spend their flowers on it. Once enough people have joined, the tile is complete. The quests that you are given by the creatures aren't in a specific order. You can actually go back and do a different quest based on a different friend. These will increase your friendship with each individual, which then can unlock special tiles for you to use! It's fun watching your friendship increase and hit milestones, unlocking a lot.
Build up a beautiful world together, there is no way to actually destroy anything! It's been fun shuffling around to see who is carefully placing out well-planned habitats and who, like me, are just quite random in fulfilling the quest they are given. Sometimes quests are placed in areas that have already, almost fully, been built. You then need to work around what's already there to fulfil your task.

Mini games
There are little mini-games, in the form of taking care of an area, that become a block sliding puzzle, which can also give you a big burst of flowers while allowing you to interact and appreciate someone else's habitat! The entire game feels very kind and peaceful as you play.Communite has built a world that feels fun to help each other. Finding other people's tiles that need a bit of a boost becomes almost a game, looking to finish off the design of another person. I, personally, am looking forward to seeing where this world grows and how chaotic it all will be when it's more filled in!
Communite is a slow-paced game that feels like everyone is working together to build a beautiful world. It's fun to help each other out and see what other people create.
