Call of Duty Mobile brings the heat, or cold, with Winter War 2 this festive season
Say freeze

- Call of Duty Mobile is set to bring back its Winter War event for the festive season
- Winter War 2 will see new limited-time modes, holiday-themed rewards and more
- That's on top of the debut of the fan-favourite Demolition mode
Things are getting chilly, but in Call of Duty Mobile, it's only heating up, as season 11 arrives alongside the return of the Winter War event! Winter War 2, launching December 12th, sees the debut of new and limited-time modes, and a host of other additions and rewards.
To start, we see two new limited modes making their return as Big Head Blizzard and Winter Prop Hunt are back. Big Head Blizzard sees you attempting to land more eliminations than the opposing team, but be careful because it can literally go to your head, making it a bigger and easier target. Winter Prop Hunt, meanwhile will see you transforming into numerous holiday-themed items as you attempt to hide from opponents by blending into the map.
And entering rotation permanently will be Demolition, a fan-favourite mode across CoD and many other shooters. If you're a Counter-Strike player, you'll already be familiar with this as it sees you alternating between defending and attacking bomb sites where you need to place and explode a demolition charge.

In addition, the Winter War event sees many holiday-themed items and rewards up for grabs! Whether that be reskins of operator skills or gift-wrapped versions of your favourite guns, the spirit of giving (lead) is very much in vogue in Call of Duty Mobile this season.
Finally, there's this season's battle pass, which comes stuffed with more things than you can shake a stick at. The new Douser Grenade, for example, produces a field of cleansing smoke that can eliminate certain negative effects on contact. You can check out even more details about the battle pass, and specifics on all rewards, over on the official Call of Duty Mobile blog!
