Cookie Run Kingdom: Black Pearl Cookie Toppings and Beascuits guide

• Aim for a lot of DMG Resist Bypass on the Beascuit.
• With Black Pearl Cookie, you will also need some defensive stats, so have a secondary Topping preset with Solid Almonds.
• Make sure you upgrade her Crystal Jam, otherwise she is pretty useless.

Black Pearl Cookie has been one of the top-performing cookies in the past, but due to recent (and more powerful) cookies being released, she fell off... a little. Today, we'll take a look at the best Black Pearl Cookie Toppings and Beascuits, so you can always have her ready to swap into a role no matter what.

This powerful cookie was once known as White Pearl Cookie, who changed 180 degrees after the loss of her love. Tragic story, but it makes for a great cookie in the end! Her complete story can be unravelled in the Story mode "A Mermaid's Tale", where you can also acquire some of her Radiant Toppings.

About Black Pearl Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom

Black Pearl Cookie is an Ambush cookie, positioned in the Middle line. She's a Legendary quality cookie, just like Moonlight Cookie, Frost Queen Cookie, Stormbringer Cookie, and Sea Fairy Cookie. At the moment, she can be obtained only from the gacha.

If you want to use this cookie in the Arena, Super Mayhem, or in any other instance, you should make sure that she has the right Toppings and Beascuits. Since she is an Ambush cookie, she is extremely squishy - therefore, she needs DMG Resist. She will also need DMG Resist Bypass since you want her to deal lots of damage.

Duskgloom's Sovereign
Dives into the abyss and shifts into her true form, creating a whirlpool storm that deals periodic damage and drags in even enemies resistant to interruptions. Enemies, terrified of the Cookie's giant size, suffer from Terror of the Abyss. If Terror of the Abyss is dispelled, the target will be inflicted with true damage proportional to the target's Max HP. Being the ruler of the abyss herself, Black Pearl Cookie is resistant to all Fear effects. (Maximum amount of damage proportional to the target's HP is 300,000)

Crystal Jam

If you have upgraded Black Pearl Cookie's Crystal Jam, her skill will deal a lot more damage but also ignore some of her target's DMG Resist. She can also ignore some of the target's Debuff Resist, allowing her to cage the enemies.

If you place her as the Leader, the rallying effect grants all allies DMG Resist Bypass, so it works exceptionally well against enemies that have a lot of defense/DMG Resist. 

The best Toppings for Black Pearl Cookie 

When you consider Black Pearl Cookie's role, you might think she needs to be full ATK/Crit. Well, that is not exactly correct. Since she has extremely low HP and defensive stats, you need to give her some DMG Resist too.

Depending on which opponent you're up against, you should have two or even 3 Topping presets for her:

Radiant Toppings:

• 5x Sea Salt Chocolate Chip with Cooldown (mandatory), ATK (mandatory), DMG Resist (mandatory) - the best
• 5x Sea Salt Almond with Cooldown (mandatory), ATK (mandatory), DMG Resist (mandatory) - second "mandatory" Topping preset
• 5x Sea Salt Raspberry with Cooldown (mandatory), ATK (mandatory), DMG Resist (mandatory)

Normal Toppings (alternative, if you don't have the Radiant ones):

• 5x Solid Almond with Cooldown (mandatory), ATK (mandatory), DMG Resist (mandatory)
• 5x Searing Raspberry with Cooldown (mandatory), ATK (mandatory), DMG Resist (mandatory)
• 5x Swift Chocolate with Cooldown (mandatory), ATK (mandatory), DMG Resist (mandatory)

Black Pearl Cookie's best Beascuit setup

Look for a Legendary Crispy Beascuit with these stats:

• Cooldown
• ATK
• DMG Resist Bypass
• DMG Resist

Depending on what Toppings you have, try to go for a Beascuit that has at least 2x DMG Resist Bypass and possibly 2x Cooldown, or 2x DMG Resist. This would be the ideal Beascuit for her, unless you manage to score 2x ATK (purple and orange) like I did.
