1
Machine Yearning

It can be a tough, tough world out there for anyone who's looking for a job - even more so when all the employment opportunities are already filled by robots. Machine Yearning takes a humble human's quest to land a job and gives it a challenging new twist, as you'll have to solve puzzles, outsmart the AI, and clear the captcha to prove you're just as good as your ones-and-zeroes competitors.
The word-slash-memory game offers a campaign mode for you to test your skills, as well as a Timed mode that'll have you racing against the clock to beat your own high score. And if you're really keen on pushing yourself to the limit, you can play the Endless mode and see how far you can go to prove you're not human.

2
El Paso, Elsewhere

Cinematic slow-mo shots and stylised neo-noir visuals abound in El Paso, Elsewhere, a visually stunning third-person shooter set in a monster-infested motel below the ground. Whether it's vicious werewolves or angels of the damned, you'll shoot your way through supernatural threats John Wick-style to the beat of a funky hip-hop soundtrack.
To top it all off, the story is fully voiced, making the chilling narrative of you having to kill your then-girlfriend-now-lord-of-vampires ex even more heartbreaking.

3
Capybara Go!

Whether it's their plump furry bodies or how they always seem like they're living their best life everywhere they go, capybaras seem to have captured the hearts of humans all over the world as opposed to their smaller pest cousins. Capybara Go! will have you setting off on a roguelike adventure on iOS and Android as you befriend and bond with capybaras before sending them on text-based quests. The randomised events will keep you on your toes at all times, but every so often, you'll encounter other cute critters and form alliances to help you on your journey.
You can also collect pets as you go along, and with everything from flying elephants to cacti with boxing gloves, there's sure to be something that'll strike your fancy.
4
Dice Route

This minimalist puzzler will have you refreshing your maths as you aim to get from Point A to Point B while gunning for a total of six on your dice. The top face and the bottom face will always add up to seven, so it's up to you to find the best route across the board with a limited number of moves.
There are over a hundred stages to challenge yourself with, along with the option to switch up the difficulty each stage to keep any rage-quitting at bay.

5
Solebound

Clear that pesky fog of war with your cuddly companion in Solebound, the aptly titled walking game where you can go on virtual adventures while getting those steps in at the same time. As you walk or cycle away in real life, you can track your trail on the world map and watch each new location revealed in the game.
You can also upgrade your character based on where you actually go, as heading to the gym will have you boosting your character's strength in-game. Then, compare your progress with others across the globe and see if you can top the leaderboards in exploring the world.
