Unforeseen Incidents coming to iOS and Android as release date unveiled alongside new trailer
Ironically, now we foresee

- Unforeseen Incidents is a conspiracy thriller set in a small backwoods town
- Play as average handyman Harper Pendrell as he uncovers a vast mystery
- Find out what the source of a mysterious disease is before it overtakes you
Backwoods Entertainment and Application Systems Heidelberg have unveiled the release date for the mobile port of their point-and-click adventure game Unforeseen Incidents. You'll be able to get your hands on this enigmatic, conspiracy-driven thriller on September 12th, and it's good news for iOS gamers as Unforeseen Incidents is also confirmed to hit iPhone and iPad!
Unforeseen Incidents sees (pun not intended) average handyman Harper Pendrell stumble onto a strange conspiracy that has something to do with a deadly disease sweeping the country. With the outbreak centred on his home of Yelltown, Harper will have to uncover exactly what this mysterious disease is, even if it risks causing him to succumb as well.
Boasting a hand-drawn world and all the necessary quality-of-life features you'd expect, such as a full English and German voice track, Unforeseen Incidents boasts over 60 unique backgrounds and dozens of characters to interact with. With high praise already lavished on it after its initial PC release, you can find out how it holds up on mobile when Unforeseen Incidents hits storefronts on September 12th.

With Unforeseen Incidents, we have one of those rare point-and-click games that, right off the bat, is selling itself via story. Given how often I tend to see games that advertise unique mechanics or a quirky sense of humour (like the admittedly quite good Darkside Detective) it's refreshing to see one that simply offers an intriguing premise and a relatively grounded setting.
