Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge is the ultimate prank simulator, launching soon
It's pineapple time

- Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge is an upcoming prank simulator, launching September 26th
- It's based on a supposedly true story of an anonymous user who drove their high-school bully to madness
- With pineapples
When it comes to dealing with bullies, we all remember the recommendations. "Just ignore them," or "Tell them 'you are what you eat'," or words to that effect. But allegedly one person took it to the next level with the use of a tropical fruit. And that's the supposedly true story that Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge is challenging you to relive.
You may remember that I covered this way back in April, which is when it was initially announced and showcased. But I'm happy to report we actually have a release date, as Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge is set to hit storefronts on September 26th.
It's based on a supposedly true Reddit post (not sure how you'd verify that) where one anonymous user recounted driving their high-school bully apoplectic with the help of strategically placed pineapples. I've definitely heard weirder conceits for a game.

As much as the sentence "Based on a true Reddit story" may tempt you to roll your eyes, Pineapple: ABR certainly doesn't look like a low-effort meme game. It's got some well-drawn artwork, a catchy soundtrack, and all it needs to finish that ensemble would be some half-decent gameplay to carry the absurd premise to its conclusion.
Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge drops for PC, iOS and Android on September 26th, with a Switch release coming soon.
