Time to get cooking

Monster Hunter Now lets you fire up the grill as Season 3 goes live
  • The highly anticipated cooking feature arrives
  • Tinker around with the Heavy Bowgun and its ammo
  • Aknosom, Magnamalo, Rajang and Nightshade Paolumu join in

Niantic has officially launched Season 3: Curse of the Wandering Flames within Monster Hunter Now, offering new weapons to get your hands on and fearsome monsters to challenge. More importantly, the season brings with it the highly anticipated cooking feature, which is arguably one of the most intriguing aspects of this patch.

In the latest update to Monser Hunter Now, you can look forward to cooking up a storm as you fire up the grill and serve yourself some scrumptious steaks. You can cook some meat for free for a limited amount every day, then enjoy your hard-earned stat bonuses before venturing out to hunt some more.

As for the new weapons, the Heavy Bowgun will have you dealing devastating damage from afar depending on your ammo of choice. The Wyvernheart Ammo (SP), for instance, lets you shoot Wyvernheart shots quickly, while the Wyvernsnipe Ammo (SP) is more of a focused fire kind of deal. You can collect Heavy Bowgun Training Tickets from limited-time missions, and, in turn, use these to upgrade your Bone Shooter.
