Developer Runaway Play is planning to release its latest title this Wednesday. Launching worldwide on World Kindness Day, Honey Grove is a narrative-driven garden sim in which you’ll interact with a variety of personable bees as you cultivate your own vibrant garden. The town of Honey Grove needs to be rebuilt, and it's your job to save it.
Considering you play as an adorable bumble bee, it's not surprising that you'll primarily be growing wildflowers in your garden. It’s up to you to keep your flowers thriving by giving them the care and attention they need. First, of course, you will need to clear space and plant seeds. Throughout your adventures through town, you'll unlock a variety of beautiful flowers and other plants, such as apple trees. Additionally, you will need to harvest the fruits and veggies you grow.
The game also features a crafting mechanic. You will gather resources and merge them together to craft the equipment needed to rebuild the grove. After reconstructing a part of the town, you'll be able to explore it. Areas you'll discover include the Community Café, Garden Shop, and Decoration Shop, where you can purchase decorations, plants, and equipment, respectively.
As you tend your garden, you’ll also learn about the town of Honey Grove via the narrative. You’ll unlock new locations, befriend many woodland creatures, and unravel the many mysteries surrounding the humble town and its bee residents.
The town is brimming with friendly bees. Each bee features its own personality and talents. Some bees have green thumbs, while others excel at crafting or exploring. As you progress, you'll recruit new bees to your team and discover more Honey Grove drama.
